DAY 1 – GLOBAL PRAYER AND FASTING WITH PASTOR CHRIS- July 24th, 2025

📍 Welcome you to today's program as we have fasted today.

·We're doing the same tomorrow.

·This is the special fasting and praying for the month of July.

·We're doing it each month—not necessarily towards the month, otherwise, we’d do it at the beginning.

·But it’s not fasting and prayer towards the month; it is in that month, and for the purpose of keeping our world where it should be in God’s timeline.

·Affecting God’s will around the world—that’s our responsibility.

·That’s God’s church.

Scripture Study – 1 Samuel Chapter 15

·I want to read something to you from the Bible: 1 Samuel chapter 15.

·It starts with the story of the prophet Samuel giving instructions to King Saul, which he didn’t follow.

·Saul decided to do something that wasn’t right, and upon his actions, Samuel arrived.

·But it’s not really the story behind it that’s our attraction at the moment.

·It’s actually the words that came out of the mouth of the prophet and a particular term he uses there.

Key Verses

·Let’s read what Samuel said from verse 22:

“And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord?

Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” – 1 Samuel 15:22 (KJV)

·I want you to notice what he said there:

o“To obey is better than sacrifice”

o“To hearken than the fat of rams”

·Then it goes on to say in verse 23:

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.” – 1 Samuel 15:23 (KJV)

Rebellion = Witchcraft?

·That’s interesting.

·It says rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft.

·What does it mean?

oRebellion = Disobedience

oDisobedience produces rebellion

oTo disobey is to exercise rebellion

oAnd rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft

·Now he’s dealing with how things work in the kingdom of God.

·He’s dealing with spiritual things.

·He also says:

“Stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.”

·Here, he uses a specific term for witchcraft, which refers to divination.

·And God clearly said not to do divination.

Coming Next…

·What’s interesting about that is he uses a narrow term there.

·I want to read further to you from 2 Chronicles chapter 33.

📖 Reading from 2 Chronicles 33

·Read from verse one to begin to describe what the Bible tells us here.

·I’m gonna read, uh, six verses:

“Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem:

But did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel.

For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.” – 2 Chronicles 33:1–3 (KJV)

·Terrible what this man did.

·Also, he built altars in the house of the Lord, whereof the Lord had said:

“In Jerusalem shall my name be forever.”

·He built altars for all the host of heaven in two courts of the house of the Lord.

·Listen to this:

“And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft...” – 2 Chronicles 33:6 (KJV)

·This time, another Hebrew word is used for witchcraft that is broader than the first one.

·Here, it primarily means whispering—whispering a spell.

·That’s quite interesting.

✨ How Witchcraft Operates

·Witchcraft can be practiced in several ways apart from divination.

·In all of it, it’s about the work of demons.

·Whispering a spell = using words to send demons.

·Demons can be sent through:

oWords

oThoughts

·When you speak or use words, they don’t hit others like desires.

oWords come as thoughts because words are thoughts clothed in vocabulary.

·So, demons can be sent as spells—that’s how people are attacked in witchcraft.

·People assume those thoughts are theirs.

·They think it’s just an ordinary thought—it’s not.

·It takes the discerning power of God’s Spirit to recognize what’s from God and what’s not.

·You must have:

oKnowledge of the Word

oInsight from the Holy Spirit

·Not every thought originates from you.

·Not every thought comes from God.

·People can catch thoughts they believe came from God, but that’s how they are misled.

·That’s how deception comes.

📖 Galatians 3:1

“O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth,

before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?” – Galatians 3:1 (KJV)

·Look at that—the relationship between witchcraft and disobedience.

·“Who cast a spell on you that you should not obey the truth?”

🌀 Spiritual Warfare & Rebellion

·People can be misled and made to disobey the truth.

·Remember:

o“To obey is better than sacrifice…”

o“Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft…”

o“Stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.”

·Rebellion and stubbornness are related.

oWhen you rebel and are corrected, but do not follow the correction, then you are stubborn.

oSustained rebellion = stubbornness

·What is idolatry here?

oBecause you esteem yourself.

oYou worship yourself and will not listen to correction.

oYou act as your own god.

🛡️ We Wrestle Not Against Flesh and Blood

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” – Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)

·We’re dealing in a spiritual world.

·Not every thought is a random thought—some are sent by the devil.

·“The devil” is a generic term referring to:

oDemons of darkness

oTheir agents

oSometimes even human agents

·People are misled to:

oHate others

oDisobey truth

oTry to destroy others

📖 Proverbs 16:28 – The Whisperer

“A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.” – Proverbs 16:28 (KJV)

·Back in 2 Chronicles 33:6, the Hebrew word used is “kashaph”—to whisper a spell.

·What does the Bible say about a whisperer?

·The King James translators used the word whisperer, not talebearer, for a reason.

·There’s something about witches and witchcraft that relates to whispering.

·Whispering spells causes:

oSeparation

oDivision

oStrife

🧠 How Witchcraft Brings Division

·Divisions in homes, marriages, families, and nations are often due to witchcraft.

·You may not understand why someone turns against you.

·They themselves don’t understand.

·They hold onto thoughts they think came from:

oTheir intelligence

oGod

·But in reality, those thoughts came from evil spirits.

·These thoughts:

oAre not from God

oAre not inspired by intelligence

oAre acts of foolishness

·God’s Word guides us:

oTo live with His wisdom

oTo function according to His wisdom

oTo do things that please the Lord

🙏 Prayer Call

·Now, wherever you are:

oPray against the work of witchcraft

§In families

§In communities

§In nations

·Pray against their evil deeds.

·Pray everywhere.

30 MINS PRAYER

·It's very important that God's people understand what the Word says.

·Through the knowledge of God's Word, you are able to pray correctly and ensure that Satan is not controlling your life.

·You are the one in charge by the power of the Holy Spirit.

·In fact, if you go to Galatians chapter five, we can begin from verse 19:

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft...” – Galatians 5:19-20 (KJV)

·What do we mean by “flesh”?

oIt is talking about your senses.

oWhen you are guided by your senses instead of being guided by the Spirit of God.

oThe senses are the intelligence of the flesh.

oWhat your mind is to your spirit, your brain and senses are to your body.

oThey bring information to your body—what it sees, smells, tastes, feels, etc.

oYour body reacts based on how it interprets information from your senses.

·The works of the flesh are manifest, and they include:

oAdultery

oFornication

oUncleanness

oLasciviousness

oIdolatry

oWitchcraft

·The word witchcraft in the Greek comes from the word Pharmakeia.

·All that time that you are practicing medicine at home, doctor in the house—he says you’re practicing witchcraft.

·It’s among the works of the flesh—listed alongside idolatry, hatred, and other bad things.

·A synonym for that is sorcery, which some translations use.

·There is a connection between Pharmakeia (witchcraft) and Satan's work in our world (referencing Genesis).

·God wants His children walking:

oIn love

oIn grace

oIn truth

oNot in feelings

oNot according to what you’re told by “this and that and the other.”

·Why do we have wars in the world?

oBecause of what leaders decide.

oAll wars can stop if the leaders on both sides agree to peace.

oSoldiers don’t go to war just because they feel like it; it’s about the decision of their leaders.

oMillions have died because individuals were moved by devils and demons who sow thoughts into minds.

·It doesn’t matter if:

oYou’re a family head

oA community leader

oA governor

oA president or prime minister

oYou can be inflamed by spirits—good or bad.

·You better choose who inflames you:

oGod or Satan

·How do you know God's guidance?

oThrough His Word

oThrough the Holy Spirit

·If you're not educated in the things of God, you'll be listening to demons and acting on their inspirations.

Why We Pray for Leaders

·It’s one of the major reasons we pray—to influence leaders spiritually.

·Refer to 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (KJV):

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”

·It is a priority to pray for:

oAll men

oLeaders

oAuthorities

·If we want peace:

oIn schools

oOn the streets

oIn our homes and estates

oWe must pray

·If we don’t pray:

oThere will be no peace.

·Verse 3–4 (1 Timothy 2:3-4 KJV) adds:

“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

·It takes the grace of God to guide people into the truth.

·Without prayer and truth:

oPeople are misled

oPeople are deceived

oPeople act under forces they don’t understand

Call to Action

·Tomorrow, we are fasting again.

·Take that opportunity to pray.

·Pray a lot again.
