Sunday, October 5th: The Word Trains Us in Righteousness

The entry emphasizes that an effective Christian life is not accidental but results from spiritual training in righteousness through the Word. The Scriptures are given to form your personality, condition your thoughts, build your life, and train your spirit to discern God’s way. When immersed in the Word, a new creation reasons, judges, and responds like God, whose Word is the revelation of His thoughts, opinions, character, personality, will, and emotions.

Just as the Lord Jesus spoke and manifested truth without a sense of lack or limitation, new creation are taught, "As He is, so are you in this world". Having been born again by the incorruptible seed of the Word, christian's must grow and be trained by it. The Word is their instruction manual for life, guide for fulfilling God's purpose, and is able to build them up, leading to a life of continual victory and success.

Monday, October 6th: Partners in Divine Purpose

Spiritual maturity involves aligning with God’s purpose in all things, especially soul winning. The new creation are referred to as God’s partners or co-labourers ("labourers together with God"). They were brought into Christ not just to escape condemnation, but to fulfill divine destiny by partnering with the Lord in bringing others into the Kingdom.

The mandate for new creation, who are able ministers of the new testament and stewards of the mysteries of God, is clear: "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature". Christians have been given the ministry of reconciliation. Functioning with Kingdom priorities involves daily soul winning, committing resources to the advancement of the Kingdom, and interceding passionately for the unsaved. This life of service is constrained by the love of Christ, meaning the new creation lives for His divine purpose.

Tuesday, October 7th: Pray Effectively by Praying in the Spirit

The devotional highlights praying in the spirit as the primary and most effective way for Christians to communicate with God and achieve a productive life. Praying in the spirit is defined as praying in unknown tongues (tongues of the spirit), which is distinguished from praying with the understanding (using a known language). Praying in the spirit takes pre-eminence and is instructive as a means to "pray always".

The earnest prayer of a righteous person (one who is born again and possesses the righteousness of Jesus Christ) makes tremendous power available. Many do not experience effective results because they do not pray in tongues. Praying in tongues generates significant fire-power that subdues the works and forces of evil, yielding amazing results evident in one’s home, work, city, and around the world.

Wednesday, October 8th: See by the Spirit

How one lives is determined by what one sees; therefore, it is crucial to see spiritually, which means seeing through the Word and with the eyes of faith. Those who see from an earthly, human perspective often view things "from the valley" and are ruled by fear and anxiety.

The Word of God gives spiritual elevation, lifting the new creation’s perspective above the mundane to God’s vantage point. Seeing by the Word reveals the truth: the new creation is the glory of God, a victor in Christ Jesus, and the perfection of divine excellence. God has called christians to function by revelation and walk by faith, which is living and acting on the basis of God's Word, not sensory perceptions. This spiritual vision enables one to stay ahead of the world, dominate circumstances, and triumph over limitations. Knowing the truth makes one free and establishes the new creation in the vantage position of health, prosperity, and victory.

Thursday, October 9th: A New, Justified Being

The core of this teaching is the new identity of the Christian: they are a different species of being who are not counted among sinners. Through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the new creation (a christian) is recreated (born again) into a newness of life.

Being justified means being declared not guilty and acquitted. The individual who was guilty died with Christ, and the new person resurrected was created in righteousness and true holiness. Christ was raised for our justification.Christians are defined as a different breed, a kind of firstfruits of God's creatures, who are sanctified, glorified, and justified, possessing the divine nature. The urgency of preaching the Gospel is driven by the desire for people to become new creations who understand they are justified and have no past in Christ.

Friday, October 10th: Proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus

Salvation is activated by the proclamation of the lordship of Jesus. While believing in the heart that God raised Jesus is essential, it is not sufficient if the lordship of Jesus has never been actively confessed over one's life.

The scriptural process involves believing in the heart unto righteousness and confessing with the mouth unto salvation. Believing alone is insufficient, as "the devils also believe, and tremble". It is the confession of Jesus' lordship that makes salvation real, breaks Satan's grip over lives, and transitions people from darkness into the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son. This critical step must be emphasized during evangelical work.

Saturday, October 11th: Everything is in Him

This final entry underscores the pre-eminence of Jesus, noting that God has magnified His Word (Jesus) above all His name. While Christians sometimes use Old Testament names for God (like Jehovah Jireh or Jehovah Rapha), the power, glory, and authority signified by those names are fully present in Jesus.

The totality of deity resides fully and permanently in Jesus; He is the living Word and the embodiment and fulfillment of all those names. Christians do not need to call on Jehovah Rapha for healing or Jehovah Jireh for provision because Jesus is their provider and healer. The Scripture testifies of Jesus, and when a christian truly knows Him, they have found everything—including eternal life, divine health, prosperity, peace, righteousness, wisdom, and strength—because everything is in Him.
