Message: August the Month of Great Grace

Pastor started reading from 2 Timothy 2:1-3, Acts 4:33, 5:12

* The apostles proved the ressurection of Jesus with many signs. Read further John 11:1-5

* Great Grace was upon all the people. There different levels of faith: zero faith, little faith, great faith. Then grace to grace- grace heaped upon grace: more grace and great grace. Then there is glory to glory

*Great grace is for special things: Extra ordinary things will happen in my life this month. God's attention is towards me to do me good and bless me in a special way. It His plan!

So begin to picture yourself in this rhem! Great grace in your life in everywhere you go and visit! God favouring you! Thank God right now.

Day 2

Increase Grace

Pastor started from 2 Peter 3:18

He explains

Grow means Auxano in Greek word: it means to give increase. I got something to do with it and He got something to do with it. God has given me grace and I have to do something about it by increasing it.

Grace means divine influence on the heart, reflected on the outward expression; reveals itself on the outside. Its an outworking of an inward influence. Grace here is Divine: it means it got to do with deity. The Lord impress this grace in my heart by the Holyghost. Whatever influence in my heart is reflected on the outside. Seeing the outworking of the grace. When the divine influence working in a man's life. There are 3 things that you will see:

1.) 1st thing you will see is acceptability if this grace works in you: something about that man, about that woman that pools you to him/her, that attracts you. That doesn't mean everyone would like you but every meaningful person will do. You will have persecutions. You need grace in your life! Grace in my life, working through me. If it follows you, it singles you out. You might be the least qualified in a job but if grace is working in your life, they will want to give it to you. The bible says we should grow in grace. You can turn it on in your life. God can add to it as you use more of it.Nature responds to you, with grace working in your life. The bible says grow in grace: it means there are levels. Instead of looking for the devil that causes a challenge, just grow in grace. My life is upward and forward. The grace is abundant, the grace just takes me up, more and more grace! no devil out of this world can stop it. All I need to do is to grow in it. Take advantage in it. When I get involve in it, it has to grow because I only get into things with the grace of God. I only take advantage of It. Grace brings acceptability. People who don't undertsand this, who are honest, always doing good and treating people well, might get repaid back with evil and get frustrated. In that situation, refuse to worry because you can only get greater. I may be here now but next time you see me, I just keep going higher and higher, becuase grace is at work in me. The race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong (Ecclesiastes 9:11). Grace brings you in at just the right time. Just grow in grace.

2.) It brings you benefit. It gives you the advantage. Except you are concious of it, it will not work. Just becuase its in the bible, it will not work. You got to be concious of it, you got to recognise it. I have grace working in me and working for me. Grace is a glory of God working in a man's spirit. That grace will show outside if its working in you. When you see it working in a man's life, you should recognise it,and don't work against it. If you do work against it then you are in trouble; the bible says if you fall against this stone, would grind you to powder.

Day 3

The Benediction

The benediction was derived from the bible;

2 Cor 13:14 To draw our attention to the 3 major elements that it talks about there

1.) The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ

2) The love of God

3.) The communion of the Holy Ghost

There is something it talks about in the 11th verse; "Farewell" can be translated as Rejoice from the Greek word. It aslo says be perfect (the word is drwan from another Greek translation "katartizo"; it means to be complete, mended together to be complete), and then be of good comfort. Its telling us to be encouraged, be of good comfort, no matter what you face. He then completes this in the 14th verse that the grace be with us. What is this grace; 2 Cor 8:9; the key thing to undesratnd here is "for your sake" Jesus suffered on the cross becuase of you, all He did is for our sake. It calls the principles of substitution, it took your place so you can take His place, that is, through His poverty, you might become rich. Please read the whole chapter; the principles of grace, and that of substitution. Which also means He has taken away our infirmities, He became sick so that you became well, 1 Pet 2:24. What He did on the cross passed on to all nation. When He died on the cross you died also, that is the gospel. Who was this Jesus, He was who He claimed to be! why was Jesus crucified when He walked on the face of the earth. The singular reason why He was crucified was in John 19:7. Reading from John 19:4 to verse 7. What is the meaning of the son of God. Mathew 22:41-46. Son of God doesn't mean somone you gave birth to but Son of God in flesh. So the Jews understood this. Mathew 27:51- when the soldiers saw what happened at the crucifixion they said, truly this was the son of God. John 1:14, verse 1. That word became flesh and crucified in our place so this was why the grace of Jesus Christ is so important we are not dealing with the grace of some ordinary men. So when you serve, trust, acquinted with Jesus Christ, you are dealing with God. John 7:5 even His siblings didn't believe in Him. Acts 1:9-12; how He went up in ascension and His siblings believed in Him- The ascension convince them. Jesus is not ordinary man, He is God's son. God in human flesh.

Ephesians 5:1-2; That's why Jesus came to reharse God , so we can see. Christ showed us how to love. How can you know God loves you until you see Christ in action. Jesus in action, that was God at work.

1 John 2:5- You can love as much as you want becuase God's love is in me. You can walk like Jesus walked, live like Jesus (Verse 6). I have the mind of Christ and I walk as He walked, He was never been intimidated, He was always a success. Today, I am the manifestation of Him, the expression of Him, you will come out of religion. Salvation in Christ means you are imparted with His Spirit. This eternal life becomes working in you. Many discovering whom they are in Christ is changing the world. The person of Jesus and not christian religion. Religion is trying to look for God, trying to discover God. In christianity, He came to look for us, came to seek and save us. It was God who came in the old testament to look for Adam. He was hiding from God because he was naked. God cursed the serpent but couldn't curse Adam becuase He has bleesed him, the calling of God are without repentance, He cursed the ground and Ground could not respond to him as it should but in His redemptive act all got reversed this was reversed, all nature was commanded to hear Jesus and Jesus said in my name go and exercise authority over all devil now we have authority over the demons of the world. no matter how far away, they listen, they obey becuase we are in Christ Jesus. The righteousness of Christ gave us this eternal life. Adam disobeyed God and Christ been the last Adam pleased God, Phill 2:8, that act of Jesus, made eternal life possible for us.

Proverbs 12:28, Romans 5:18- 21 Righteouness lead to life in the pathway therof, there is no death. He didn't ask us to practice righteounsess for nothing, it has an end. Undertsnad the construction of this language. How do you describe this pathway? it is a death-free pathway. Romans 8:1-2 the Greek construction is not that it delivers me from the law of sin or that it brought me out of death. Not free from death but a death-free pathway. Which means, there is no death in me. Romans 7: 23-24 Right from when a man was born, he got death in him, he is born into death; from the womb to the tomb. The man is in the body of death from the time of birth. If that same spirit lives in you then once the Holyghost has fertilised your body it is no more death. The generation that will recognise this will see the rapture. This will be by faith. We are going to walk in this world with such faith and understanding. Sin shall not have dominion over us, in our path there is no death. I am the light of the world, I am not the victim of the wicked. I walk in righteousness, eternal life is at work in me, in my soul and my body. I am preserved blameless until the coming of our Lord Jesus. Of His inccrease we have recieved grace to grace John 1:14 ( That shows Jesus description- full of grace and truth)verse 15-16; grace heaped upon grace. Read verse 16 in Amplified classic version. Everyday of my life, I am full of grace today, I am walking in a greater grace today, grace is working in me grace upon grace. I have received abundance grace, I have grace before God and before men. I am full of favour. Its time to change any challenges you are going through. Declare to yourself daily; Of His fullness I have recieved grace upon grace. Begin a new journey of absolute success. Roman 1: 16-17 My life is from faith to faith. I walk by faith and not by sight.

Ephesians 3:8-10 Amazing intent of God. Its God deliberate intent to make known is derigated wisdom, to the principalities and power in the heavenly rhem, through the church. It was His demonstrate wisdom of His power through the church. When you understand the scripture, your heart will be at rest. Irrespective of what you face today, even as christians, you might be distracted due to economic health, feeling rejected by the circumstances but when you know the bible, you are on moved. He reigns us to shine His light in the world of darkness. we must not allow the threat of evil get us to fear. We have to look beyond them becuase they are falling. This power of evil, princes of darkness have all be defeated. Our job is to walk in the light of God, wisdom of God and keep them where they belong, in the place of absolute defeat. The only thrive where there is lack of knowledge; evil prevails when good men do nothing but we have been sent by God, designated by God as the light of the world and darkness cannot overcome this light. evil some time can be persistence. We are more persitence. Remember what the bible tells us, when you read the book of Daniel; let's look at what happened at the end Daniel 7:27 - that's the way it ends- we win and that winning began when Jesus was raised from the dead. Colosian 2:15. All the demon of darkness saw Jesus defeat satan and his cohorts, all were defeated by Jesus and from then, 1 Corinthians 15:25 this is not in heaven, there are no enemy in heaven, so He reign over them. He is seated in the place of power in heaven and let's look at how it reigns here on earth; Romans 5:17. He is given us the gift of righteousness because we live for Him. His grace is working in us Romans 5:21, 1 Peter 2:9( read from NKJV and AMPC). Our job is to display the virtues and perfections of Christ and that is why He expects us to learn His word and put it in our heart and bring them forth. We are meant to run this world. We are the light of the world, we will not be overshadowed by darkness, we win by the blessed name of the Lord Jesus Christ. John 8:28-44; Here is dealing with a crowd of people and there are 2 groups; one believe in Him and the other don't. Satan is the father of lie. 1 John 3:12.

When Jesus chosed His desciple John 6:66-71; He didn't say one of you has a devil but says one of the disciples is a devil. He chose the 12 by Himself. and says Judas was a devil. John 12: 5-6 : Judas was a thief and previous scripture said, he was a devil. Lets read the story in Esther 3: 1-; (what did God said about Amalek Exodus 17:16, 14- why God was so mad with Amalek, what God means was that there would be Amalek in every generation) in the days of Saul, Amalek was there. Where is Amalek and how dit it manifest himself, we saw the manifestation in the story from Haman; he is called the enemy of the Jews. Isaiah 10:12 (NIV) , Micah 5:2-4 ( This is talking about Jesus, prophetic about Him. He prophesied where He would be born). Isaiah 10:12-13 (NIV) Wherever you do, find yourself in God's place, where are you occupied, where are you sitting?

Ephesians 3:19

Galatians 4:19, Ephesians 3:13- (Paul Praying for his spiritual children) No day for discouragement. This prayer is just showing us the purpose of God's love towards us, verse 17; when will this prayer be answered for you, in your life? So it should be prayed for those who just received Christ, this prayer should now be a reality in your life. verse 18; this means there are some saints who are already comprehended, so take this prayer and make it yours, live in it. Verse 19: all the fullness of God means all the personality of God and everything that belongs to Him (everything that is consistent with is personality and wealth). The totality of divinity reside in Jesus and we are complete in him (Col 2:9-10) it shows us the way of the father, and His desire. The day we receive the Holyshpit is the day it happens. So when you pray this prayer; confess this way; Lord I thank you that you have granted me............., Lord I thank you that Christ dwell in my heart by faith....... and I know the Love of Christ...... and I am filled with the fullness of Go. That is christianity. That is how to use and live in the word of God. He said it, so you might respond. Verse 20: according to the power that works in us not power that come upon us. The Holyghost has taken His abode in my heart. You don't need special anointing to cast out devil, we have of God because greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. I am anointed with the anointing of Jesus Christ.
